What a bombshell for Mexican soccer! Moments after the Mexican National Team defeated Honduras 3-0 in World Cup Qualifying, former El Tri manager Miguel Herrera, who was the guest analyst for Univision Deportes, announced on their post-game program Contacto Deportivo that Hirving Lozano was purchased by Manchester City. Ivan Kasanzew then mentioned that Lozano will also be loaned to PSV for 2 years to play alongside his compatriots Andrés Guardado and Hector Moreno.
Adal Franco, a reporter for ESPN Mexico confirms that this transfer is official pending formal announcement by Grupo Pachuca president, Jesus Martinez.
